Frequently asked questions

Quick answers, honest ones. Don’t see your question? Call (828) 476-8851 or email info@purevitalityinfusions.com — Chelsey reads every one.

What is IV therapy?

IV therapy delivers vitamins, minerals and fluids directly to your bloodstream — bypassing your digestive system so your body absorbs nearly 100% of the nutrients, versus 20–40% with oral supplements.

Will I meet with a practitioner before treatment?

Yes. Every first-time client meets one-on-one with our practitioner to review your health history, current medications, goals, and any relevant labs. We build your treatment plan together.

Do I need a doctor’s referral?

For most standard infusions and injections, no. For certain specialty treatments — like high-dose vitamin C, chelation, or SOT IV — you will meet with a medical practitioner first. We’ll walk you through it during booking.

Do you accept walk-ins?

Yes — for injections and most standard infusions, based on chair availability. Specialty or extended treatments are best booked ahead.

How long does an appointment take?

Quick injections take under 15 minutes. Standard IV infusions run 30–60 minutes. Extended protocols like NAD+, chelation, or high-dose vitamin C can take 1–3+ hours. We’ll always give you a time estimate when you book.

Do you offer mobile infusions?

Yes. We bring nurse-administered infusions to your home, office, Airbnb, or event anywhere in Western North Carolina. The travel fee is $50–$125 in addition to the therapy cost, depending on location.

Is IV therapy safe?

All infusions and injections are administered by licensed registered nurses using sterile, medical-grade supplies. You are monitored throughout your entire session and our practitioner reviews every treatment plan beforehand.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash, credit, debit, HSA and FSA. We do not currently accept insurance, but we can provide a receipt for you to submit to your provider.
